Creating a Nikola Tesla documentary that follows the 90 mile run and the history behind the points of interest we visit while there (July 13th – 17th 2022)

Tesla Coil

This message is to inform you of our intention, schedule, and plan associated with the NTII trip to New York City and Long Island on July 13-17th 2022.  Where we will obtain the video footage for creating a documentary about the history of Nikola Tesla in New York- Past & Present along a 3 day- 30 miles each day ‘Historical Run’ through all 5 Burroughs of New York City and then ending on Saturday afternoon – July 16th (my 57th Birthday, btw) at Wardenclyffe, at the Birthday celebration Expo that day.  I plan on attending the events at Wardenclyffe on both Friday & Saturday that weekend to meet with attendees of the event regarding our documentary and proposal for a Fully-Immersive Experience based on the history of Nikola Tesla before / during / after Wardenclyffe with an emphasis on his current legacy because of all that he was trying to accomplish at Wardenclyffe.
Main Points of Day One: Wednesday July 13th
1)  Drive to New York City on Wednesday Wednesday July 13th (Leaving between 9-10am that morning).2)  Staying at the New Yorker Hotel – in the Nikola Tesla Suite, hopefully!!   On Wednesday & Thursday nights (July 13 & 14).
Main Points of Day Two:Thursday July 14th
1) Start the first day of the run on Thursday – early morning July 14th on Ellis Island (We will be visiting the U.S. Museum of Immigration there & talk to someone at the museum ), then we will visit Liberty Island & the Statue of Liberty (and talk to someone at the Statue of Liberty)2) Take the Ferry from Liberty Island to Battery Park (where Nikola Tesla initially landed in NYC and was processed as a migrant worker).  We will talk to someone there about the history of the location & building there).3) Then head up to Delmonico’s Restaurant on Beaver Street & also the Shumei Institute of Manhattan before  4) Continuing the run up the Manhatten western shoreline up to 34th Street.  Then start to make our way to the New Yorker Hotel.  5) We will stop at the New Yorker Hotel and talk to someone there in the middle or at the end of the run.  We can definitely add more history later about this and many of the other stops for the documentary. 6) Make our way to the Nikola Tesla Corner at Bryant Park (where he often used to feed the Pigeons), along with the former location of the International Electical Enineers’ Society where they awarded him their highest honor in 1916 or 1917 (l believe).7) Then on our way to & through Central Park where he often used to visit on his daily walks. .8) Then over to the church where they held Nikola Tesla’s funeral and a quick stop at Columbia University- their Library & lecture hall space are histically significant  there.  Hopefully we can talk to someone there and then make our way over to the NY Botanical Gardens & Bronx Zoo.  9)  Then depending on how much distance we have gone by then on our first day – will determine how much distance will be left for us to head back down to the New Yorker Hotel & Manhattan to complete the first 30 mile day.10) Have dinner (around 7:30-8pm?) that night at the New Yorker Hotel with members of the New York City Chapter of the Nikola Tesla Innovation Institute.
Main Points of Day 3:Friday July 15th
1) Start the day crossing the Brooklyn Bridge and then making our way up to Kenneth Swazey’s home near Milton & Liberty2) Make our way up to Queens while passing other points of interest in Brooklyn along the way. 3) Pass points of interest in Queens before getting on the Long Island North Shore Bike Pathway that will take us along the old Long Island Railroad line that Nikola Tesla used to take out to Wardenclyffe in the early 1900’s.4) After the second day of running 30 miles is completed,  l hope to then receive a therapeutic massage & energy treatment/ enhancement before attending the night festivities at Wardenclyffe starting at 6pm.5) l hope everyone will be able to meet and interact (directly or indirectly) with our gracious hosts Yonda & Stephen Walker along with their friends Judith & William who are healers & run their own Wellness Center on Long Island not far from Wardenclyffe.
Main Points Day 4:Saturday July 16th
1) Start the morning run 30 miles away from Wardenclyffe and finish at Wardenclyffe between 3:30-4pm.2) Rest & recuperate for about 3 hours for me before l join in the festivities surrounding our NTII booth around 6-6:30pm in the evening at the Tesla Birthday Celebration & Expo on Saturday evening starting at 6pm.  3) Others on the trip will need to set up the 10 foot X 10 Foot area NTII Booth that will dazzle the attendees, hosts, other vendors at the Tesla Birthday Celebration & Expo that evening.  We will heed volunteers to come and set up and break down our booth there while interacting with everyone there at Wardenclyffe on both Friday & Saturday nights of the trip.4) The Big-Picture idea is for us to establish ourselves with those who are already involved in furthering Nikola Tesla’s Legacy that we meet during the entire weekend trip.  While obtaining the video footage thatcwi be part of our documentary that will be finished after we return from the trip.  This documentary will serve as a means to reach a large audience to promote next year’s 90 mile ‘Historic Run with Nikola Tesla’ & the Tesla Birthday Celebration & Expo @ Wardenclyffe that they can participate in themselves next year.
Main Points for Day 5:Sunday July 17th
1) Leave Shorham, Long Island area to head back to Columbus/ home around 10-10:30am Sunday morning.
*** NOTE: We are seeking hosts for our support staff throughout our 4 night stay – 2 in NYC on Wednesday & Thursday nights; and then 2 nights on Long Island Friday & Saturday that weekend to help keep our costs down.
